　　成武县位于山东省西南部，隶属著名的中国牡丹之都菏泽市，地处鲁、苏、豫、皖四省交界处。早在新石器时期就有人类在此生息繁衍。3000 年前，周武王封弟于郜，成武为古郜国国都，秦时置县，因“城成于武王”而得名，因“伯乐故里”而誉满天下，是汉梁王彭越、名贤孙期、贤相庞籍、农学家苗好谦、状元韩克忠、清华大学创始人周自齐的故乡。同时，成武还是我国孝贤文化发源地，境内有清代徐思迈妻申氏节孝坊、徐格妻刘氏节孝坊等众多文化古迹。在全国经济布局中，成武处在中部过渡带，属于国家战略——中原经济区全覆盖地；近年来，山东省委、省政府先后作出了新旧动能转换、“突破菏泽、鲁西崛起”等加快鲁西南经济带开发建设的战略部署，为成武发展带来重大政策红利。人文荟萃，她蕴藏着钟灵毓秀；水韵新城，她演绎着别样精神；汇纳百川，她激发着无限可能。

　　成武县东西长 39 公里，南北长 41 公里，总面积 988.3 平方公里，辖 11 个镇、2 个街 道办事处和 1 个省级经济开发区，共有 476 个行政村，10 个居委会，1317 个自然村， 总人口 74 万。
